New in service: AS350 B2

The flight service providers Heli Transair, headquartered in Egelsbach, and Rotorflug, headquartered in Friedrichsdorf, have expanded their fleet of helicopters with an AS350 B2 aircraft, which is already successfully flying its first missions on working flights.

"With the additional AS350, we can react even more flexibly to our customers' requests - even at short notice," says Rotorflug Managing Director Jörn Muth happily.

The aircraft is used by Heli Transair and Rotorflug primarily for external load, assembly and control flights. But passenger flights are also part of the helicopter's remit.

"Heli Transair and Rotorflug have the right machine, the right crew and the necessary know-how for every job - from passenger flights to work flights and flight schools to cargo flights," says Dirk Herr, the managing partner. This is well known in the market, which is reflected in the good order situation. Therefore, Herr continues, it was important to expand the fleet with the additional AS350 B2 helicopter.

The AS350 is the most frequently used helicopter model for cargo flights throughout Germany. It is a light, multi-role, single-engine helicopter and has excellent flight characteristics.
